This exhibition, opening January 30th, 2010, offers a selection of portraits - a presentation showcasing a genre that has enticed artists throughout history to examine and capture the human condition. This exhibition of extraordinary drawings and prints from the 1500's through the present day will highlight portraits from private Colorado collections, including examples by Chuck Close, John Currin, and Marlene Dumas, side-by-side with works from the Denver Art Museum, by Billy Sullivan, Jim Nutt, and local artist, Bill Amundson.
